Mr. Joss was appointed Vice President & General Manager of Flash Technology when American Tower acquired Flash Technology in January of 2000. Mark joined Flash Technology as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing in November 1999 under private ownership to lead the commercial team and assist in the sale and transition from a private to a public setting.
His experience includes a wide variety of positions with public, private, foreign owned as well as personally owned and operated businesses. Major past employers include the following: 13 years with US Gypsum (public), construction products and industrial chemicals; 6 years with Henry Wurst (private), printing; 4 years with Stinnes US (Miller and Co) (public - German owned), melt deck chemicals; 2+ years with Premier Security (private start up, self owner), security systems; 2+ years with Roll Service (private), temperature control rolls for paper, food, chemical and plastics.
Mr. Joss received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Jones joined Flash Technology in 1996 and held several sales positions leading to his assignment as Sales Director in 1999. He was appointed to the Position of Vice President, Sales in 2002. In this position he is currently responsible for revenue, profit and market development. Mr. Jones has over 16 years of Sales and Marketing experience with over 10 years of direct sales management experience. Prior to joining Flash Technology Doug was employed by United Cities Gas Company. He received his B.S. degree in Business Management from David Lipscomb University.
Mr. Beck joined Flash Technology in 2003 and acted as the Dielectric IT Technology Manager for all of Dielectric’s facilities in the United States, Europe and Australia until he was promoted to NOC Services, Director of Flash Technology in 2006. Along with a staff of 25 employees, he is currently responsible for revenue, profit and market development of Asset Monitoring and Compliance services. Mr. Beck has over 10 years of IT related experience and over 8 years of direct management experience. Prior to joining Flash Technology Brian was employed by Ceco Door Products, a former SPX company. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University and his M.B.A from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Ms. Cable started with Flash Technology in April 2005 and is the Director of Finance. Prior to joining Flash, she was the Controller for Brookstone Telecom, an SPX company in California, from May 2004 until its sale, at which time she was transferred to Flash. Prior to her joining SPX, Ms. Cable was employed by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in its newly established Vacation Ownership Division. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California, and obtained her Public Accounting experience with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where she attained the position of Audit Manager. Ms. Cable received her B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University.
Ms. Lyczkowski joined Flash Technology in 2000 and held several operations and sales positions leading to her assignment as Planning Manager in 2006. She was appointed to the position of Director of Plant Operations in 2008. In this position she is currently responsible for planning, procurement, production and supply chain management. Prior to joining Flash Technology Shannon was employed by AMI Metals, Inc. She earned her B.S. degree in Marketing from Auburn University.
Mr. Priest started at Flash Technology in June 2005 and is the Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining Flash he was employed by Ryder System, Inc. where he began in 1981. At Ryder he held several Logistics and Human Resources roles including Group Director of Human Resources. Mr. Priest received his B.S. in Logistics from the University of Tennessee in 1981.
Mr. Shumate is the Director of Engineering for Flash Technology. Chris joined Flash Technology in 1996 where he has been responsible for the development of the Eagle platform for remote monitoring and control of the company’s obstruction lighting products. He was promoted to Director of Software Development in 2000 and to his current position in 2001. Mr. Shumate received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University and has 21 years experience in firmware development, application development, and systems design with 12 years of engineering and business management. Prior to Flash, Mr. Shumate served as Engineering Manager and later as General Manager of American Mine Research (AMR). He also held the position of Director of Quality Assurance for AMR’s sister company, East River Metals and Custom Manufacturing Services, where he led successful QA system implementations and registration to the ISO 9000 standards.
Mr. Smith joined Flash Technology in 2007 as Director of Marketing. In this position he is responsible for all marketing communications and new business development activity. Mr. Smith has over 30 years experience in Marketing and New Product Development. Prior to joining Flash Technology Robert was a marketing consultant. Previous employment experience includes significant marketing positions with Clorox, Dow Chemical, and Maytag. He received his B.A. and M.B.A from the University of Virginia.
