FRANKLIN,TN – March, 2008 – ArgusON, the leading supplier for remote asset monitoring for the telecommunications industry and an affiliate of SPX Corporation (NYSE:SPW) and SensorLogic today announced a strategic alliance to provide machine-to-machine (M2M) services for the Public Service of New Mexico (PNM) San Juan Generating Station.

Working together, the two companies developed an M2M solution for remotely monitoring and managing of water consumption data for the power plant’s new Air2Air water recovery system, which was introduced at the PNM power plant in December 2007.  SPX’s patented Air2Air™ water recovery system enables power plants to recover much of the water evaporated in a standard cooling tower and, in doing so, reduce their annual water consumption by as much as 20 percent. The M2M solution developed by ArgusON and SensorLogic allows individuals to more easily track, measure and validate the performance of the water recovery system.

Delivered as a complete end-to-end solution, engineers can now monitor the operation and performance of the water recovery unit and provide instant feedback to plant operators. Water recovery system information is presented on the web via SensorLogic’s Xpress Service Application that enables online performance data and alarm management.
